I decided to set up my own flickr account, upload my picture, and post it to my blog using Flickr's blogging tool. Although, there are many steps to post a picure from Flickr to your own blog, I found it to be a smooth and easy process. I can't wait to see what this looks like on my blog. See you there shortly...

Hmmmmmmmm!
Week 11: PubMed Mashups
Before today I had no idea what a Mashup was so I can definitely say that I did learn something new this week. So far I get the general concept of what a Mashup is and can relate to some of the sites, at least I can figure out how to use them and the results. The PubMed Mahups are throwing me for a bit of a loop and that may be because I don't do much searching in my position so it is really hard for me to make any comparisons. This is one that I would need to spend more time on in order to really see the differences.

I Must Be A Sight Junkie
Week 10: Podcasts
I'm not really sure what the library could Podcast about, but I'm sure someone can find something. I can see a lot of people using Podcasts for news, comedy and many other interests, but I would personally find Vodcasts more useful because unless I'm listening to music, I like to have visual content too. I like the use of Podcasts for the Medical Grand Rounds that doctors are unable to attend, although Webcasts might be preferred for certain subjects like dermatology. I guess I'm a sight junkie, while I did find useful information in the Podcasts that I subscribed to (mostly scrapbooking), I couldn't help wanting to see pictures too!
