Week 7: Social Bookmarking
Just when you thought things couldn't get any better...they do!! Social Bookmarking!! This is so amazing, what a wonderful tool. I love that now I can have my bookmarks no matter where I am and once I finish adding all my work bookmarks to my account I will no longer have to worry about IT changing something on my computer and having no favorites left. I know we've all been there in Scottsdale! I hate to think of how many times that's happened to me alone. But, no more! As I started adding bookmarks to my account and then looking at what others that bookmarked my sites have bookmarked I can see the potential of using this tool for research assistance. Again, I hope I can find the time, sooner than later, to get all my bookmarks at home and work into del.icio.us.

Yes, it's really neat, isn't it? By using the tags, I can find the bookmark more quickly, and I'm not limited to waiting to get back to my work computer to find that web site that I need to access NOW, not tomorrow.
You make a good point about social bookmarks being able to keep track of your bookmarks--even if your computer crashes!
